I Rang the Bell!

8/28/2020 I rang the bell!! On 1/28 (my birthday), I went to my first medical appointment to treat breast cancer. Seven months later after surgery, chemo, and radiation, today was my LAST DAY of treatment

I’m so thankful for all of the prayers, encouraging notes, kinds words, and compassionate care I received. I’m grateful to live in Baltimore with some of the best healthcare options. The Maryland Proton Treatment Center was amazing. They knew my name and treated me with kindness and compassion every day. It was like Cheers but they served life-saving laser beams instead of alcohol.

Seriously, I’m so happy to be alive and healthy and loved.
